In 1998, Maggion achieved ISO 9001 certification (now version 9001:2015), granted by ABS QUALITY EVALUATIONS, which defines requirements to ensure quality standards in order to seek customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, improvement of our products and the effectiveness of the quality management system.
Through the Falcão Bauer Quality Institute (body accredited by INMETRO), our products are certified as regulated by Ordinance No. 544, of 10/25/2012 of INMETRO, meeting the requirements of the Conformity Assessment Program for new tires, intended for motorcycles, scooters, mopeds, passenger cars, including mixed-use and towed, commercial vehicles, light commercial and towed, focusing on safety and performance, through the certification mechanism and aimed at Accident Prevention.
In 1996, our Laboratory for Tire Testing (LEP) was installed on Maggion's premises, for testing new and reformed tires, as well as research and development of new products. In 1997, we achieved the Accreditation by the General Accreditation Coordination of INMETRO in ABNT NBR ISO/IEC 17025 (today in the version ISO 17025:2017), this accreditation constitutes the formal expression of the recognition of our competence in performing tire testing activities.
