1. Verify the tire calibration

The tire pressure should be checked weekly when the tires are cold and, if necessary, adjusted. In addition to shorter service life, tires with incorrect pressure have irregular wear and overheating.

2. Be careful when storing your tires

Don't let the tire in contact with water, grease or oils. Also, keep tires away from electric motors, as they release ozone, a gas that is harmful to rubber.

3. Eliminate air pockets between the tire and the tube

Mount your tube and inflate it to about 10 pounds/inch2. Move the valve a little and then top up to the recommended inflation.

4. Keep an eye on the tread depth

Check the depth regularly. If it is less than 25% of the total, call a specialist to solve the problem.

5. Always mount the tire with proper tools in order to avoid damage to the rim, the inner tube and the tire beads

To avoid damage to the rim, inner tube and the tire beads, it is recommended to lubricate the edges of the tire beads with a neutral release agent. This facilitates a perfect fit with the rim.

6. Watch for possible cracks in the tires

Always check for natural wear, dry rubber, or deep cuts in the tire.
